Outdoor Burning Rules for Christmas Valley
Outdoor burning within district boundaries is allowed only under these conditions.
Residential yard debris must be burned in approved containers or piles with proper clearance:
- Approved container fires must be at least 15 feet from any structure.
- Piles 3 ft or less in diameter and 2 ft or less in height: maintain 25 ft clearance.
- Piles larger than 3 ft in diameter or 2 ft in height: maintain 50 ft clearance.
- Burns must be fully extinguished by the designated cutoff time.
- Absolutely no burning after dark.
